Biography of Tony O'Brien
From 1997 until this year I retired from competitive cycling. My second child and first daughter was born that year. Though I stopped racing I continued to ride mainly due to the fact I was still a Division 1 ice hockey referee and continued to skate until last year, 2009 when I retired after 31 years.

Feeling a lack of competitive juices flowing I decided to jump back into cycling on both the road and track. Its not hard to miss the friendship, training and satisfaction of cycling. I am glad to be back.
